This Rare and Unique Opal has an incredible display of colors. A Perfect cabochon dome cut and flawless (IF) clarity. This Natural Semi-Crystal White Fire Opal Gemstone is of the Highest Quality.
As shown in the pictures, this opal has an incredible range of iridescent colors which change dramatically based on your viewing angle. Just 1mm opens up a new array of colors.
In this high caliber category of rare opals. Only one opal with it's own color pattern exists. There are no two alike in existence.
The opal measures 10 x 10mm. This is a perfect circle, which comes at a high cost due to sacrificing a large amount of high quality opal to allow this to fit into it's final jewelry setting.
Of all the Opal mined in the world, this opal is in the top 0.01% in terms of quality. It took the earth over 30 million years to create this opal.
All of the pictures are of the same opal from different angles. There is a a wide range of colors: Reds, Pinks, Yellows, Oranges, Greens, Violates and Blues.
An amazing character of this class of opals is that they exibit different colors and intensities in different lights. So when it's viewed in Sun Light, Moon Light, Warm Indoors or Cool Indoors Light, even the difference of shade, it will have unique displays different.

This opal comes from my private collection, it is very difficult for me to part with. But funds are needed to keep the wildlife sanctuary and our family going.

These gemstones are specifically calibrated by an expert lapidist, specifically for this housing.
I am also a gemstone trader, with several thousand opals passing through my hands each year. I put the best ones into jewelry made by our family and then sell off the remaining ones. Due to this process I am able to offer a unique situation for my buyers where they are able to purchase a much higher quality gemstone for the price paid.
For an example on pricing, this would usually be triple the retail price that I charge. Simply because other shops have higher overhead costs. I don't have these costs which is why I can offer this price.

Please keep in mind that the price on the certificate will need to be three times that of the retail price because that is the realistic price if you were to get this from a "normal" jeweler.

---How is Opal formed?---
Millions of years ago there was a unique situation on Earth which resulted in silica being deposited on the Earths surface. Over the last 30 million years, Opal was formed. As water runs down through the earth, it picks up silica from sandstone, and carries this silica-rich solution into cracks and voids , caused by natural faults or decomposing fossils. As the water evaporates, it leaves behind a silica deposit. This cycle repeats over very long periods of time, and eventually opal is formed.

In our wildlife sanctuary in County Clare in Ireland, we are working on recovering ecosystems which were damaged from intensive farming and resorting native forestry.
Being 10 kilometres from the coast, but in a mountainous area, adjacent to a lake, our forestry and heather fields provide a unique and essential habitat and breeding grounds for wildlife, both native and migratory.

We’re working throughout the year on different projects, from clearing grounds from invasive species to sowing native Irish wildflowers and rare Irish plants to help them from going extinct. This work is also essential to combating the declining numbers of bees and butterflies and other insects. We also actively encourage wildlife into our sanctuary by providing food and shelter.
Over time, we have noticed a great improvement for the wildlife in our wildlife sanctuary, it has proven to be an essential backbone for a wide variety of rare and endangered animals and plants.
